Salary = up to 43,000pa OTE. Basic salary of 39,740, on call payment of up to 2,000k pa. Overtime available at management discretion of up to 8 hours per week. Certification payments for GasSafe 1500pa, 18th Edition 1000pa and HV Switching 1000pa.

This role is urgently required in the business - as such we are not accepting applications from individuals who are not already living in the UK due to the time involved in having to relocate to the UK

We develop a diverse range of energy projects, including Landfill Gas Generation, Flare Systems, Embedded Gas Generation, BESS, Combined Heat & Power systems, Client-side Behind the Meter power generation, Solar/PV arrays and more, in the UK and overseas.

Responsibilities:
To ensure the operation & maintenance of all operational generator sets plant and gas systems to achieve maximum safe electrical output and to support the efficient commissioning of new generators
Aims to achieve this: Planned maintenance and breakdown response on the generator sets with minimum outages
Provide 24 hour callout response to generator failures and site faults.
Operation and maintenance of LFG Systems
Assist commissioning new generator sets
Taking accurate regular records which are forwarded to HO
Managing time and travel effectively, staying away from home where appropriate
A commitment to continuous enhancement of your skills and knowledge, and that of the technicians working with you
Seek guidance and advice from the engineering and management team in anything you are unsure of
A commitment to Health & Safety practices following all procedures and using your own judgement
Compliance and implementation of company protection procedures with a proactive approach to maintaining, monitoring, reporting and auditing
Commitment to training to enhance knowledge and skills with regard to environmental protection and emergency preparedness skills.
Procurement of environmental protection equipment and materials.
Deal directly with spillages using pollution prevention equipment
The job holder is responsible for: Liaising with the Supervisor and other management
Maintenance of all mechanical and electrical plant used in the operations of LFG
Maintenance of LV electrical equipment subject to training and competency
HV switching subject to training and competency
Work & monitoring on the gasfield to maintain the fuel source for the generators
Repairing and maintaining the generator
Their own safety and that of others
Showing the company in a good light by maintaining a clean, well run site at all times
Avoiding unnecessary expenditure by using skills and tools available within the company
Reducing the companies reliance on contractors wherever this is economically prudent.
Ensuring a stock of basic spare parts as detailed by the Manager is replenished and always to hand should there be a breakdown
