Are you a hands-on engineer who loves turning ideas into real-world solutions? We're looking for a practical and motivated

Engineering Technician

to join our innovative Research & Development team.

In this role, you'll work closely with engineers and fellow technicians to help bring early-stage concepts to life. From building and assembling prototypes to supporting system testing and fault-finding, you'll play a key role in developing next-generation technologies that support our business goals.

The main elements of the role will include:

Build and assemble mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems to support prototype development and testing. Assist in the design and setup of test rigs and prototype equipment to bring concepts into working systems. Support fault-finding and troubleshooting during trials, using diagrams and logical problem-solving. Take ownership of assigned tasks, ensuring clear communication and timely progress updates. Maintain a safe and organised lab environment, including tools, equipment, and planning support.

About the person:



Qualified to HNC/Degree level in Engineering or a related field, with apprenticeship or equivalent hands-on experience in engineering, manufacturing, or maintenance. Strong skills in mechanical fitting, electrical wiring, and system assembly Ability to interpret logic diagrams, technical drawings, and engineering instructions A team-focused approach with strong communication skills A proactive mindset and attention to detail Full UK driving licence and valid passport (with no travel restrictions)
