About the Role

We are looking for Engineering Technicians to join our Projects Team, supporting the design and delivery of a wide range of, planning, civil and structural engineering projects. This is a predominantly office-based role with a focus on technical drawing, project support, and documentation, working closely with engineers and project managers.

You'll be involved in preparing high-quality CAD drawings, contributing to design development, and helping to keep projects on track from planning through to delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare detailed 2D and 3D technical drawings, layouts and models using AutoCAD and other design tools.*
Support engineers in developing civil and structural designs across residential, commercial, and infrastructure projects.*
Assist in the preparation of technical documentation, specifications and reports.*
Coordinate drawings and data with internal engineering teams to ensure consistency and buildability.*
Maintain drawing registers, document control, and contribute to project file management.*
Provide input to design meetings, checking drawings for accuracy and clarity.*
Liaise with the wider project team to meet deadlines and ensure client satisfaction.*
Follow company quality standards and assist with continuous improvement of technical templates and workflows.*

What We're Looking For

_

Essential:

Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately to deadlines.*
Good written and verbal communication skills.*
Organised, proactive, and confident working independently as well as in a team.*

Desirable:

A qualification in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related discipline (e.g. HNC/HND, BTEC, NVQ Level 3+).*
Previous use of AutoCAD (or similar) for producing detailed drawings.*
Experience working in a consultancy or construction environment.*
Familiarity with BIM or 3D modelling software (e.g. Revit, Civil 3D).*
Knowledge of UK building regulations and construction practices.*
Previous experience supporting project documentation and admin.*

We are currently open to applications from all abilities as training can be provided. Salary will be dependent upon previous experience and qualifications.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From 20,800.00 per year
