Job Description

H T Products is a family business established in 1981, who requires a versatile applicant to join our busy team on the shop floor.

We have an opening for an individual who will be hands-on in the workshop carrying out simple tasks to ensure efficient workflow and contributing to the successful completion of customer orders.

Engineering experience would be an advantage but not essential as training will be given.

The candidate will be working on the engineering shop floor, so experience with hand tools, good eye for detail, the ability to work as part of a team, punctual time keeping, a willingness to learn, the desire to work in a production environment will be key.

This role can be tailored based on experience, an applicant who has experience with welding and engineering would be ideal however an enthusiastic applicant who has had some mechanical experience and requires training may also be suitable.

Main job requirements:

Helping with the various stages of production such as:

-cutting stainless steel material

-preparing parts for further processing

-cleaning, testing and packing of products

Engineering machine shop and Welding experience would be an advantage

The ability to manage and schedule their work as well as the ability to work on their own with support is required.

Duties can change from day to day, subject to job requirements.

There is also the potential to learn and advance on welding skills as the work progresses.

The ideal candidate would be on a fixed contract, with some requirements to work extra paid hours when work is busy.

Hourly rate, available work hours and contract length to be discussed dependant on applicant experience.

A driving licence would be required
