Job Overview


We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable English, Mathematics or Science tutor to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in these subjects, with the ability to develop engaging curriculum and utilize learning technology to enhance the educational experience. This role involves working with students of varying ages 5years to 16years(Year 1 to GCSE), to help them achieve their academic goals.

Responsibilities



Develop and implement tailored lesson plans that cater to individual student needs in English Mathematics or Science. Utilize various teaching methods and learning technologies to facilitate effective tutoring sessions. Provide instruction in key areas of Mathematics, Science or English for both Primary and Secondary School Assist students in understanding complex concepts through practical examples and hands-on activities. Foster a positive learning environment that encourages student engagement and participation. Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their academic growth. Collaborate with parents or guardians to discuss student performance and areas for improvement. Maintain classroom management skills to ensure a productive learning atmosphere. Adapt teaching strategies for students with special education needs or varying learning styles.

Requirements



Proven experience in tutoring or teaching English, Mathematics or Sciences at various educational levels(Primary to Secondary). Strong knowledge of curriculum development and lesson planning techniques. Familiarity with learning technologies that enhance the tutoring experience. Experience working with children, including early childhood education or preschool experience. Background in higher education teaching is a plus. Ability to convey complex concepts clearly in subjects. Excellent computer skills for utilizing educational software and resources effectively. Strong classroom management abilities to create an effective learning environment for all students. A passion for education and a commitment to helping students succeed academically. Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 20.00-25.00 per hour
