About the role

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Teacher of English to join our department at a time of exciting transformational change. You'll be part of shaping a refreshed curriculum, engaging pupils across KS3 and KS4, and supporting our journey to achieve outstanding outcomes. Inspiring students through English opens a window to new perspectives--and the courage to engage with them. Whether you're an experienced teacher or a strong ECT, you'll have the opportunity to innovate, collaborate, and make a real difference to our students' learning.

To be successful in this role, you will:

Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Have experience of teaching English in a UK secondary school setting, with a proven record of student achievement Be committed to inclusive and inspiring teaching that supports all learners Share our high expectations for behaviour, achievement and attitude to learning

Lift Firth Park is a vibrant, mixed secondary school for students aged 11-16. Located in Shiregreen, Sheffield, we serve around 1,200 pupils and reflect a richly diverse community, with more than a third of students speaking English as an additional language.
