Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated English Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will inspire students to develop a love for literature and language while fostering critical thinking and effective communication skills. Responsibilities

Develop and implement lesson plans that align with the curriculum and educational standards. Teach English language skills, including reading, writing, speaking, and listening, to students of varying abilities. Assess student progress through assignments, tests, and classroom participation, providing constructive feedback to support their development. Create a positive classroom atmosphere that promotes respect, collaboration, and enthusiasm for learning. Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to the overall improvement of the school's educational offerings. Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress and any concerns that may arise.

Qualifications

A degree in English, Education, or a related field is essential. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching certification is preferred. Strong knowledge of English literature and language pedagogy. Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage students effectively. Experience in teaching English at the secondary level is advantageous but not mandatory. A passion for education and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment. Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students.
