Duties

Develop and implement lesson plans that align with the curriculum and educational standards. Teach English language skills, including reading comprehension, writing techniques, grammar, and vocabulary. Create an inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages student participation and fosters a love for learning. Assess student progress through assignments, tests, and projects while providing constructive feedback. Organise extracurricular activities related to English literature and language to enhance students' learning experiences. Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to the overall development of the school's educational programme. Maintain open communication with parents regarding student performance and behaviour.

Experience

A degree in English, Education, or a related field is essential. Previous teaching experience is preferred but not mandatory; newly qualified teachers are encouraged to apply. Strong knowledge of the English curriculum and effective teaching methodologies. Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage students of varying abilities. A commitment to professional development and continuous improvement in teaching practices. Familiarity with digital teaching tools and resources is advantageous.
