The College has an excellent opportunity for inspiring and ambitious individuals to take on the role of Part -Time Visiting Teacher in English.
You'll deliver high-quality English teaching to adult learners across a range of levels, including Functional Skills level 1 & 2 . The role includes planning and delivering engaging lessons, assessing learner progress, supporting students pastorally as a tutor, and ensuring safeguarding responsibilities are met.
We'd like you to hold a UK degree or relevant qualification in English or a related subject, hold a recognised teaching qualification and have experience teaching English to adults in FE/HE or similar setting. This should include Stepping Stones, Functional Skills and or GCSE.
With experience as a personal tutor dealing with pastoral issues, you'll have strong understanding of adult learning principles and inclusive teaching strategies. You'll have a high level of computer literacy and practical digital skills with good planning, preparation, organisational and administrative skills and good attention to detail.
This role involves on-campus and online evening teaching.
Closing date for the return of completed applications is 15th November 2025 and the teaching will be on Sundays and the online teaching will be on Wednesdays.
