Job Title: English Teacher
Location: Marlborough, Wiltshire
We are seeking a talented and dedicated English Teacher to join our team in Marlborough. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, preparing and delivering high-quality English lessons to secondary school students.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Develop lesson plans in line with the national curriculum and school guidelines
Create engaging and interactive learning activities to promote student participation and understanding
Assess and evaluate student progress through tests, exams, and coursework
Provide constructive feedback and support to students to help them improve their English language skills
Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and resources
Participate in parent-teacher meetings and school events as required
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in English or related field
Teaching qualification (QTS or equivalent)
Proven experience as an English Teacher, preferably in a secondary school setting
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to motivate and inspire students
Passion for English language and literature
