About the Role

Provide Education are seeking a passionate and dedicated

SEN Teacher

with an English specialism

to join a specialist

SEN school in Nottingham

. This is a full-time position where the successful candidate will deliver engaging and accessible English lessons tailored to pupils with a wide range of special educational needs, including Autism, ADHD, SEMH, and communication difficulties.

Responsibilities

Plan, deliver and assess creative English lessons for pupils with diverse learning needs. Differentiate learning to ensure accessibility and engagement for all students. Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and SEN staff to provide individualised support. Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment. Maintain high standards of safeguarding, behaviour management and pastoral care.
Requirements

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification. Experience teaching English in mainstream or SEN schools. Previous experience working in a

SEN setting

is desirable but not essential - strong mainstream teachers with a passion for SEN are encouraged to apply. Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to adapt teaching strategies.
