We are looking for a passionate and motivated

English Teacher

to join our dedicated team in Peterborough. This is an exciting opportunity to inspire and challenge students, helping them develop a lifelong love for reading, writing, and communication while achieving academic success.


About the Role


Teach English across KS3 and KS4 (and KS5 if applicable). Plan and deliver creative, engaging, and challenging lessons that meet the needs of all learners. Assess, track, and support pupil progress, ensuring every student is able to fulfil their potential. Contribute to curriculum development and the continuous improvement of teaching and learning within the English department. Play an active role in wider school life, including enrichment and extracurricular activities.
About You


Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential. Strong subject knowledge and a genuine enthusiasm for English literature and language. Ability to inspire, motivate, and engage pupils of all abilities. Excellent classroom management, communication, and organisational skills. A reflective practitioner who is committed to their own professional development.
