Job Description
Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Translator to translate during a 5-day Management training course. The ideal candidate will be proficient in English and translate into Arabic (Gulf area). The students will be professionals from the Gulf area, with mixed-levels of English language skills. The course will be delivered in English by a Management Trainer and the Translator would translate into Arabic throughout the session.
The 1-week class will be delivered in a city centre Manchester hotel, and will be repeated for other groups subject to satisfactory performance.
Duties
Translate spoken content from English to Arabic whilst maintaining the original meaning, tone, and context. Review and proofread translations to ensure accuracy and clarity (before the course starts). Collaborate with team members to understand project requirements and deadlines. Communicate effectively with all stakeholders
Experience
Proficiency in English and previous experience in Arabic translation is mandatory Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and the skills to effectively present to a class of 20 students.
Job Types: Part-time, Temporary
Contract length: 1 week
Pay: 25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 per week
