English Tutor (In-Person & Online)

Location:

In-person sessions (Thursdays) + Online

Hours:

Thursdays, 5:30pm - 7:30pm (with additional online sessions as required)

Role Overview:

We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic English Tutor to support students in improving their English language skills. The role involves planning sessions and delivering engaging in-person sessions on Thursdays, alongside online tutoring, tailored to students' individual needs and abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver structured English lessons appropriate to the student's level Support students with reading, writing, grammar, comprehension, and exam preparation where applicable Deliver in-person tutoring sessions every Thursday from 5:30-7:30pm Provide additional tutoring online as scheduled Adapt teaching methods to suit different learning styles and abilities Track student progress and provide constructive feedback Set and review homework or independent tasks when needed Maintain a positive, supportive, and professional learning environment Communicate effectively with parents/guardians or the tutoring team when required

Requirements:

Strong proficiency in English Previous tutoring or teaching experience (preferred but not essential) Good understanding of the UK curriculum Reliable, punctual, and well-organised Confident using online teaching platforms (e.g: Google Meet) Patient, encouraging, and able to build rapport with students

Pay: 12.50-15.00 per hour
