Job Description

Inspire a Love of Language

Accelerate Learning Centres is expanding! Since 2013, we've helped thousands of students across South Liverpool build confidence and achieve academic success. Now, we're looking for

passionate English tutors

to join our Allerton team and help KS3 and KS4 students reach their full potential.

What We're Looking For

Qualifications:

Experience helps but isn't essential -- we welcome those studying English or related degrees. QTS holders receive enhanced pay.

Skills:

Strong communication, adaptability, and a patient, encouraging approach.

Curriculum Knowledge:

Familiarity with the National Curriculum and GCSE exam boards is essential.
What You'll Do

Deliver engaging small-group lessons (up to 6 students) that strengthen key skills, close learning gaps, and build exam confidence. Use our wide range of digital and print resources -- with freedom to bring your own flair. Track progress and communicate effectively with students and parents.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Freelance

Pay: 13.70-28.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 2 per week
