We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Tutor to join our educational team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing personalised academic support to students across various age groups and learning needs. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in students' educational journeys by fostering confidence and a love of learning. The Tutor will work closely with students to develop tailored learning plans, reinforce understanding of subject matter, and encourage academic growth in a supportive environment.
Responsibilities
Conduct one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions tailored to individual student needs
Develop and implement lesson plans that align with educational standards and student goals
Assess student progress regularly and adjust teaching strategies accordingly
Provide support in English, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of the material
Foster a supportive and encouraging atmosphere that promotes student confidence and motivation
Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding student progress and areas for improvement
Collaborate with other educators or specialists when necessary, particularly for students requiring additional support
Experience
Proven experience in tutoring or teaching, preferably in a formal educational setting minimum six months experience.
Experience working with children, demonstrating patience and adaptability in diverse learning environments
Knowledge of special education practices is highly desirable
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to facilitate effective interaction with students and parents
A genuine passion for education and helping students achieve their academic potential
