The KS2 - KS3 English tutor will be responsible for guiding students through key stages of English language and literature development. Key Responsibilities:
Provide structured lessons aligned with KS2-KS3 English curriculum requirements.
Deliver engaging sessions that cater to various learning styles and abilities.
Identify individual student needs and tailor teaching methods accordingly.
Offer comprehensive exam preparation, including practice tests and revision strategies.
Track student progress and provide constructive feedback to enhance performance.

Requirements:
Applicant must deliver the KS2 English curriculum outlined in the national curriculum.
A key requirement is to actively develop pupils' vocabulary, make links between known and new words, and help them understand the meaning of words they encounter in their reading across all subjects.
Applicant must guide pupils in understanding and using a wide range of grammatical structures, conjunctions, and punctuation, including the correct use of the possessive apostrophe.
Teachers should promote the reading of a range of stories, poems, and non-fiction texts to build knowledge of the world and develop reading comprehension.
Prior tutoring or teaching experience with a proven track record of student success.
