English Tutor for Cleaning Operatives- SELF EMPLOYED

Job Purpose:

To deliver practical and accessible English language lessons tailored to cleaning operatives, helping them improve communication skills relevant to their work environment and daily interactions.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and deliver English lessons focused on workplace vocabulary, safety instructions, and everyday communication. Adapt teaching methods to suit learners with varying levels of English proficiency. Use real-life scenarios and materials from the cleaning industry to enhance learning. Encourage speaking practice in a supportive and inclusive environment. Monitor progress and provide feedback to learners and management. Collaborate with supervisors to align lessons with operational needs and health & safety requirements.

Requirements:

Recognised English teaching qualification or relevant experience. Experience teaching adult learners or workplace English. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to create a positive and respectful learning atmosphere.

Desirable:

Multilingual skills or experience working with learners from diverse backgrounds. * Experience in vocational or workplace-based education.
