Responsibilities
Plan, prepare, and deliver comprehensive English lessons tailored to students' age groups and proficiency levels.
Develop engaging teaching materials that promote active learning and student participation.
Assess student progress regularly through tests, assignments, and informal evaluations, providing constructive feedback.
Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages confidence and curiosity in learning English.
Adapt teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning styles and special educational needs where applicable.
Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessments, and student progress reports.
Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum content and share best practices.
Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development activities to enhance teaching skills.
Qualifications
A recognised qualification in Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL/TESOL) or equivalent is preferred.
Prior experience in teaching English or working with language learners is advantageous but not essential; recent graduates are encouraged to apply.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and inspire students.
Organisational skills to manage lesson planning, grading, and record keeping effectively.
A patient, adaptable, and enthusiastic approach to teaching.
Fluency in English is essential; additional language skills are a plus but not required.
