We are thrilled to announce an exciting opportunity for an

ENT Clinician Leadership Lead

to join our team. This pivotal role offers the chance to make a real impact in the ENT field by shaping clinical practice, driving service improvements, and fostering a positive, collaborative culture.

About the Role

Reporting to the Medical Director, you will provide specialty-specific expertise and leadership to improve clinical care, service delivery, and patient outcomes for ENT services. Your focus will include implementing process changes, enhancing patient pathways, and ensuring best practices across the department.

Key Responsibilities:

Act as the clinical subject matter expert for ENT services, advising senior leadership. Lead service improvement initiatives aligned with national standards and local strategies. Collaborate with Quality Team, Service Managers, and multidisciplinary teams to improve in-clinic processes. Develop and deliver ENT-related policies, protocols, and clinical guidelines. Identify opportunities for quality improvement and patient safety enhancements. Mentor and support ENT clinicians through training, newsletters, and meetings. Incorporate feedback from patients, carers, and external stakeholders (NHSE, ICBs, CQC). Report progress on service improvements to governance committees.

About You

We are looking for someone who brings:

GMC (or equivalent) registration and specialist qualification in ENT. Significant post-specialisation experience, ideally within community ENT services. Proven track record in clinical leadership or service development. Strong understanding of clinical governance, quality improvement, and patient safety principles. Excellent leadership, communication, and influencing skills. Ability to analyse complex data and drive evidence-based decisions.

Communitas Clinics is a provider of NHS community ENT (Ear, Nose and Throat) and Dermatology services, operating across London and the South East of England. Patients are referred to our service by their GP, and appropriate referrals are then treated in community settings by specialist clinicians.
