• HANDS-ON Architecture definition and implementation experience on a Legacy App Modernization project.
• Legacy App could be Visual Basic / Oracle Forms / Power Builder / Old Java Monolithic Apps.
• Modernised App should be a Cloud Native java Application on Azure Platform
• Should have ground level experience on Iterative Go-Lives, managing Legacy & New App in parallel in meantime
• Should have personally worked with BRE Tools, Cloud Readiness Tools, DevSecOps, Code Companion Tools such as Github
• Should have working experience with Customer to finalise technology stack & tools after comparing options and their pros and cons.

Enterprise Architect

Role Summary: We are seeking a seasoned Enterprise Architect with 20+ years of experience to lead complex transformation initiatives across cloud, application, and data domains. The ideal candidate will possess deep technical expertise, strategic vision, and the ability to engage with diverse customer stakeholders to drive business-aligned architecture decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Engagement & Transformation Leadership
o Drive architectural discussions with CXOs, business leaders, and technical stakeholders to align technology solutions with business strategy.
o Understand customer business models and strategic goals to define transformation blueprints and roadmaps.
o Lead the development of target and transition architectures, ensuring alignment with enterprise goals and regulatory requirements.
o Translate business value streams into technical specifications and actionable architecture artefacts.
o Analyse and identify opportunities for process and technology optimisation within existing customer environments, recommending improvements that enhance efficiency, scalability, and business value.
Application & Data Modernization
o Lead end-to-end modernization of monolithic Java/J2EE applications into scalable microservices using Domain-Driven Design.
o Architect and implement database modernization strategies, including migration from Oracle Exadata/ExaCC to PostgreSQL or other cloud-native databases.
o Modernize legacy components (PL/SQL, Pro*C) to modern languages and frameworks.
Cloud Architecture & DevSecOps
o Design and deploy scalable, secure, and cost-optimised solutions on Microsoft Azure, following the Well-Architected Framework.
o Define and manage DevSecOps pipelines integrating tools like SonarQube, and Azure DevOps.
o Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, or ARM templates.
Integration & Governance
o Define integration strategies across legacy and modern systems, ensuring seamless interoperability and data consistency.
o Provide architectural governance and enforce best practices for cloud-native development, security, and compliance.
o Lead the evaluation and adoption of emerging technologies including AI-driven code analysis and observability platforms.
Leadership & Collaboration
o Mentor development teams and ensure alignment with enterprise architecture standards.
o Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define rollout strategies, integration plans, and transition roadmaps.
o Act as a bridge between business and technology teams, resolving ambiguities and guiding implementation.
Required Skills & Experience:
20+ years in software architecture and enterprise-level solution design.
Proven expertise in Java, J2EE, and modern frameworks.
Strong experience in microservices, containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes), and messaging systems (Kafka, Azure Event Bus).
Hands-on experience with Azure cloud services and DevSecOps tools.
Nice to have experience in technologies and platforms like OutSystems, Salesforce, Altryx and other similar platforms
Experience with CAST, vFunction, and other modernization accelerators.
Deep understanding of database migration strategies and cloud-native data platforms.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
Ability to define and drive transformation blueprints and architecture roadmaps

Skills Required
