Enterprise Network Architect - Permanent Role

What you\'ll be doing
The Network Architect will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing complex enterprise network infrastructure to support our business objectives. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of network technologies, protocols, and best practices, as well as strong communication and project management skills. This role will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the highest level of network performance, security, and efficiency.

  • Design and implement network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, wireless, and cloud-based networks.
  • Evaluate and recommend network technologies, hardware, and software solutions to meet business requirements.
  • Develop network architecture and topology diagrams, as well as detailed network design documentation.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and develop network solutions that align with organizational goals.
  • Plan and execute network upgrades, migrations, and expansions.
  • Ensure network security by implementing appropriate security policies, procedures, and technologies.
  • Monitor and analyse network performance, identify potential issues, and implement proactive solutions.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior team members.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with vendors and service providers.
  • Stay current on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to continuously improve network architecture and operations.

  • You should have excellent interpersonal skills and is fully experienced in dealing with stakeholders. Proficient and effective communicator.
  • Experience in building Digital environments
  • Experience with different IT delivery approaches (waterfall, agile, lean\xe2\x80\xa6)
  • Ability to explain complex problems in a simple and effective manner
  • Strong knowledge of architecture methodologies, principles and frameworks, ideally TOGAF
  • Platform Architecture for Networks
