What does this team do?

In Enterprise Technology & Performance (ET&P) we focus on enabling our clients to be the best that they can be. Tech is a fundamental part of all businesses, no matter what area they're in. We implement and enhance new solutions that will improve organisations and help them to thrive.



We work with their most senior leaders to help them digitise and modernise their organisations from the ground up, with innovative technologies in finance, supply chain and IT.



Our teams combine strategic thinking, advisory services, and cutting-edge technology to move organisations away from outdated, on-premises systems and onto new cloud-based platforms. We also focus on increasing our clients' impacts on wider society, helping them to improve sustainability, diversity and inclusion for example, using tech to support the drive to net zero and incorporate inclusive ways of working.

What skills and academic qualifications do I need?

You need to be on track to achieve a predicted degree classification of 2:1 or above in any discipline and you must be in the penultimate year of your course Your degree course must support a placement year in industry and you must be graduating by September 2028 Duration of programme: 12 months.

What kind of work will I do?

As an Industrial Placement intern in Enterprise Technology & Performance, you will work on large-scale technology transformations, working across the full lifecycle from the design through to implementation. As part of your role, you will be:



Working with individuals from our clients' business and IT teams to understand what our clients' problems and needs are, transforming those into technical requirements Supporting the design and implementation solutions across finance, supply chain and technology platforms Creating documentation crucial to the delivery and execution of the programme, alongside materials presented back to clients Learning how to engage with clients to solve their most complex problems and the approaches Deloitte takes to understand their needs Discovering how technologies underpin everything an organisation does, and which technologies work best for each part of a business Throughout your time at Deloitte, you will be working with teams across our ET&P and wider Consulting practice, understanding how we bring our range of technical expertise and combine them in the way that best serves our clients You will have opportunities to work with experts and teams across numerous fields, getting insight into how we work with the world's largest and most important organisations.

Where will I work?

At Deloitte we recognise how important face-to-face interaction is for your development in a new role. We also understand that our people need flexibility, which is why we operate a hybrid system, with a combination of office and home working. If you're in a client-facing role, you might be expected to attend client sites on certain days, while your meetings will be a mix of online and in-person events. Please note your final assessment and induction will also be in-person, to give you the opportunity to network and build relationships.
