Summary

We are seeking an Entertainer to join our team at Willow Tree Lodge in providing joy and engagement to our residents. This role is vital in fostering a vibrant community atmosphere and contributing to our mission of enhancing the lives of the elderly.

Responsibilities

Plan and execute entertaining activities that engage residents Perform dance, theater, or musical acts to entertain residents Facilitate interactive sessions that promote socialization and enjoyment Communicate effectively with residents to understand their preferences Collaborate with staff to create a lively and supportive environment Adapt performances based on resident feedback and participation Encourage participation from all residents, ensuring inclusivity Maintain a positive and energetic atmosphere throughout events

Qualifications

Proven experience in performing arts such as dancing or theater Strong public speaking and communication skills Ability to engage with elderly individuals compassionately Experience working with children is a plus Teaching experience or skills in leading group activities is preferred Creative mindset with a passion for entertaining others Flexibility to adapt performances based on audience needs Team player who thrives in a collaborative environment

The role will be for 10 hrs. 5 days per week @ 2 hours a day. From 10am to 12pm. Pay rate is 13.50 per hour
