Job Overview

We are seeking a friendly and professional Server to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional guest service in a fast-paced restaurant environment, ensuring that every patron has a memorable dining experience. This role involves taking orders, serving food and beverages, washing dishes and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for all guests. Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant settings is preferred but not essential as training can be provided. A strong focus on food safety and guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly and provide attentive service throughout their visit Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring special dietary requirements are accommodated Serve meals and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and maximise sales opportunities Assist with food preparation and ensure adherence to food safety standards Manage multiple tables efficiently, demonstrating excellent time management skills Handle payments accurately Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, including setting tables and clearing used dishes Address guest inquiries professionally, resolving any issues promptly to ensure satisfaction Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation during service hours

Qualifications

Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service is desirable but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper handling procedures Basic maths skills for processing payments and calculating bills Strong communication skills with an emphasis on guest services Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a busy environment Flexibility to work weekends, and holidays as required A positive attitude, team player mentality, and enthusiasm for delivering excellent customer service
