Entry-Level Ductwork Fitter

Job Summary:

We are looking for a motivated and reliable

Entry-Level Ductwork Fitter

to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to start a career in the ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) industry. You will assist in the installation of ducting systems on various commercial sites while learning key skills from experienced professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the installation of ductwork systems under supervision. Support experienced fitters with measuring, cutting, and assembling ducting. Help with loading, unloading, and moving materials and tools on-site. Learn to read and understand basic drawings and layout plans. Maintain a clean and safe working environment. Follow instructions carefully and adhere to site safety rules and regulations. Participate in on-the-job training and development activities. Report any issues or safety concerns to supervisors promptly.

What We're Looking For:

A genuine interest in learning a skilled trade. Punctual, hardworking, and willing to work as part of a team. Basic understanding of hand tools and a willingness to learn how to use power tools safely. Positive attitude with a willingness to listen, learn, and follow directions.

Requirements:

No previous ductwork experience required - training provided. A valid CSCS card (or willingness to obtain one before starting). Right to work in the UK. Reliable transport to get to and from work sites. Must be aged 18 and over

Desirable (But Not Required):

Any experience in construction, HVAC, or a related trade. Completion of a relevant college course or pre-apprenticeship (e.g., construction or mechanical engineering).
