About the role:
We're manufacturers of high performance insulating glass units, supplying to a number of sectors. We're looking for an enthusiastic
entry level Office Assistant
to join our friendly administration team and provide day-to-day support across the office.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to start their career in an office environment within the manufacturing industry. You'll learn how orders are processed from start to finish, work closely with various teams and help keep everything running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
*Answering incoming calls and e-mails and directing queries to the right person.
*Taking payments/cash/credit card.
*Processing orders/invoices using a specific glass optimising programme.
*Checking deliveries.
*Filing, photocopying, scanning and general administrative duties.
*Supporting senior staff with any ad hoc admin tasks as needed.
Skills & Experience:
*Strong attention to detail & good organisational skills.
*Confident using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
*Good written and verbal communication skills.
*Willingness to learn about our products and processes.
*Positive attitude and ability to work as part of a team.
