Join Us as an Environment & Sustainability Manager

At the CWA, we're on a mission to power millions of homes with clean, reliable electricity through the ambitious Sizewell C project. We're seeking a dedicated Environment & Sustainability Manager to play a pivotal role in ensuring the project's environmental and sustainability standards are not just met, but exceeded.

Drive the adoption of best practices and initiate improvements through audits and inspections, ensuring the project meets its environmental and sustainability goals.

Work alongside key stakeholders, and local communities, to promote initiatives and innovations that enhance environmental and sustainability efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

Implement the project's Environmental and Sustainability strategy.

Advise project team members at all levels, providing leadership in sustainability risk management.

Support and coach Environmental and Sustainability advisors, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Conduct inspections and audits, utilizing data to drive sustainability action plans.

Build relationships with stakeholders to promote collaboration and share best practices.

What We're Looking For:

Proven experience in the infrastructure industry within environmental and/or sustainability roles.

Strong leadership skills, with experience in managing teams.

A relevant degree and proficiency in MS Office applications.

Excellent communication and organizational skills, capable of influencing positive change.

Experience in implementing ISO14001 standards.

Desirable Qualifications:

Chartered environmental professional status and ecological survey experience.

Knowledge of Development Consent Orders (DCOs) and Nationally Significant Infrastructure Projects (NSIPs).
