Job Title: Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S) Officer


Location: Aylesbury, United Kingdom
Morson are working with a fast-growing manufacturing business who are seeking a motivated Environmental Health & Safety Officer to join their Production Engineering and Facilities team. This is a key role where you'll help develop, implement, and maintain the company's health, safety, and environmental standards while ensuring compliance with ISO45001 & ISO14001 and UK legislation.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain EH&S policies, procedures, and systems. Conduct risk assessments, site audits, and inspections. Lead incident investigations and root cause analysis. Coordinate EH&S training, inductions, and refresher sessions. Liaise with external bodies (e.g., HSE, environmental agencies) to ensure regulatory compliance. Support environmental initiatives such as waste management, emissions control, and energy efficiency. Collaborate with production, engineering, and facilities teams to embed safety culture.

Skills & Experience:

NEBOSH General Certificate (essential). Proven EH&S experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment. Knowledge of UK legislation and ISO standards (ISO45001, ISO14001). Strong organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Proactive and able to manage time and priorities effectively. IT literate (Microsoft Office EH&S software ERP systems desirable).
