About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced knowledgeable, confident and enthusiastic EHS to join our HSQE team, based in our head office in Elderslie (Glasgow)
Role Responsibilities
Ensuring that the company adheres to current Health, Safety & Environmental - legislation, regulations, standards and industry best practice.
Identifying potential hazards, conducting risk assessments, and implementing control measures to prevent incidents.
Developing training needs for employees, promoting a strong safety culture and promoting continuous improvement.
Investigating accidents, incidents and near-misses, determine causes and implement corrective actions.
Role Experience/Qualifications
EHS Manager with experience of the construction industry, preferably within rail but this is not essential.
Have or be working towards IOSH membership.
Have or be working towards PISEP previously PIEMA.
The ability to develop and oversee processes and initiatives to ensure compliance with Health, Safety and Environmental regulations and standards.
Strong influencing skills and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels
Full, UK Driving Licence.
