We are seeking a proactive and organised Environmental Health Administrator to support our Environmental Health team in delivering high-quality services that protect public health and promote environmental wellbeing. This is a key administrative role that ensures the smooth running of day-to-day operations, including case management, data entry and customer service.


What You'll Be Doing




Provide administrative support to the Environmental Health Team. Maintain accurate records and databases, including complaints, inspections, and enforcement actions. Respond to public enquiries via phone, email, and in person, offering excellent customer service. Schedule appointments, meetings, and manage associated documentation. Liaise with internal departments and external agencies to support service delivery. Monitor and order supplies, manage invoices, and support budget tracking.



What You'll Bring to the Role




Previous experience in an administrative role, ideally within a local authority or regulatory environment. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment The ability to manage sensitive data and maintain confidentiality at all times. A calm, adaptable, and customer-focused approach to your work.
