We are working with a successful NI business who due to growth are seeking to appoint their new permanent Environmental Scientist to join the team in Belfast.
Joining their projects team you will be working on projects within the water and wastewater sectors, this will include;
- Deliver hands-on, on-site support for both new and developing projects across various sectors.
- Oversee all phases of assigned projects--from initial consultation through to commissioning--with support from senior management.
- Generate accurate process data and recommendations by calculating production, labour, and material costs; analysing production schedules; and forecasting future requirements.
- Prepare and submit timely reports, updates, and documentation as required by management.
- Assess and provide technical guidance in client-facing environments.
- Keep up to date with industry innovations, technological advancements, and changes in relevant legislation.
- Degree educated in a scientific or engineering discipline, ideally with an interest / experience in environmental sustainability, particularly within water / wastewater.
- Proficient in troubleshooting with sound root-cause analysis skills
- Excellent planning and organisational abilities, with solid proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
- Possession of a full, valid UK driving license.
