We are looking for an experienced pharmacist or pharmacy technician to fulfil a key role within the management of the Wye Valley EPMA solution. Having implemented EPMA across the Trust the team are looking to continue to move forward with Business As Usual (BAU) practices and further system optimisation. Key skills base in stakeholder engagement, IT system management or development cycles as well as system support are vital in the ever evolving digital systems environment. The post holders clinical knowledge will be utilised to support the system change management processes and further develop robust clinical governance routines.
The post holder will work closely with other system manager across the Clinical Systems Group (CSG) which covers the management of multiple systems including PAS, EPR, digital dictation and Community Services provisions.
Provide leadership and expertise to Digital Projects in areas of service improvement and change management relating to EPMA and digital medicines management.
Work collaboratively with Medical Staff, Nursing Staff, Senior Pharmacists and the Multidisciplinary Team and Operational Management, to facilitate the delivery of the national agenda for EPMA and digital medicines management in accordance with the agreed objectives, including optimisation of medicines.
Develop procedures to ensure that new systems and service changes are stable, maintainable, meet usability criteria, provide accurate information and meet the required specification.
Provide effective leadership, expertise, advice and support to all wards and departments involved in the use of clinical software applications.
