Job Description

We are seeking a proactive and analytical EPRR Co-Ordinator to support the EPRR Lead to ensure that the IUC service meets its statutory EPRR obligations.
You'll work closely with the EPRR Lead and the Accountable Emergency Officer to deliver effective response plans, maintain NHS EPRR Core Standards compliance, and strengthen organisational resilience to protect patients and ensure continuity of services.
Role Details:
Contract: Permanent, Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
Salary: 36,000
Location: Homeworking but you need to be located in a commutable distance to one our of sites in Stockley Park(London), Dorking, Bristol, Exeter, Ipswich. Stockton-on-Tees, Worcester, Warwick, Devon, Surrey, Suffolk, North East Essex, West London, Coventry or Rugby.
Travel: Occasional travel to other PPG locations required
What you'll be doing

  • Assist in developing, implementing, and maintaining the IUC EPRR work programme in line with local and national guidance.
  • Oversee day-to-day administration of the IUC on-call rota.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships across the NHS and partner organisations for an integrated EPRR approach.
  • Ensure plans, policies, and guidance are updated promptly following incidents or exercises.
  • Collaborate with internal and external teams to develop and maintain response plans and supporting documentation.
  • Contribute to EPRR training and exercising programmes, ensuring compliance with NHS EPRR Core Standards.
  • Carry out post-incident/exercise debriefs and ensure lessons learned are acted upon.
  • Manage the EPRR inbox, ensuring timely review and action of communications.
What we'll look for in you
  • Education/Qualifications:
  • Degree-level qualification or equivalent experience in Emergency Planning, Business Continuity, or EPRR.
  • Desired Experience:
  • ISO 22301:2019 Foundation or CBCI qualification.
  • Experience delivering EPRR training and exercises.
  • Skills:
  • Excellent communication, writing, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage workload under tight deadlines.
  • Adaptability, flexibility, and resilience in dynamic environments.
  • Strong project planning and coordination skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
