We have an exciting opportunity for an Ambulatory Vet to join our dedicated equine practice based near York on a fixed term contract to cover maternity leave.


The position will be from the end of Jan/Feb 2026 for a minimum of 8 months.

Established RCVS accredited ambulatory practice with a 40-year reputation for clinical excellence Proudly part of the Vet Partners group Our focus is to deliver high-quality client focused veterinary care and maintain strong relationships with our clients and their horses Friendly, progressive, close-knit team, supported by an experienced office team, two qualified RVNs, two animal care assistants and a groom Clinic with stables, paddocks and stocks

o 3 digital radiography systems and multiple ultrasound units o Video endoscopy, gastroscopy, shockwave and in-house laboratory

The Role:

Salary - 35,000 - 65,000 pro rata Full-time - however other options may be considered for the right candidate On call rota 1:8 weekends and weekday (day off for working weekend)
