Chine House Veterinary Hospital is an RCVS Accredited Equine Hospital. Our hospital facility is led by an internationally recognised specialist in equine surgery. We have extensive facilities with a wide range of diagnostic, therapeutic and surgical equipment in addition to MRI.

We are looking for a Veterinary Assistant to assist in our busy well equipped hospital. The right candidate will have the opportunity to be part of a close skilled team caring for our patients. The role will include, but not restricted to - Grooming, hand grazing, assisting vets and nurses as required with diagnostic imaging and procedures. Hygiene and sterility of all preparation areas. The candidate will have in-depth training to be actively involved in providing a high level of nursing care to both medical and surgical patients.

Candidate must be confident around an array of horses and environments. Competent in all aspects of equine husbandry is vital with previous experience. We are looking for someone who uses their own initiative with a positive attitude.

We are a training hospital and this role may lead to an opportunity to train as an equine veterinary nurse (not guaranteed) so the candidate must have achieved a minimum of 5 GCSE's at grade A-C / 9-4 or equivalents to include Maths, English Language and a Science.
