Citi is seeking an experienced D level industry candidate to work as a Futures Execution Director across High Touch and Low Touch.



By joining Citi's Equity business, you will be part of one of the world's largest equity franchises where you will be responsible for the Futures Execution business. This role involves running a Sales Trading team where Sales Traders are split between London, Frankfurt and Paris .


This is a senior level hire, reporting into the Head of Futures Execution, with the primary objective to drive the Futures Multi Asset business split between HT and Low Touch.

What you will do will be varied day to day, but the key drivers for the role are

:

Working with regional and global sales teams to delivery and execute on the European regional sales strategy. This includes applying knowledge and sales expertise to cross sell into Markets and Equities products (e.g., Cash, Prime Brokerage, Clearing) Be responsible for PnL Active client origination coverage responsibilities with clients in several key relationships, with the aim to drive maximum growth in revenue and profitability. Advising clients on the implementation of different strategies by applying your knowledge of the Futures landscape and working closely with colleagues across Markets to increase franchise net profitability. Understanding when and how to initiate escalation for tier one Institutional client relationships.

What we will need from you:





Experience of working in a Sales Trading role with excellent product knowledge is essential, and candidates who do not have this will not be considered. A strong knowledge of multi asset Futures services. You will be expected to have a strong technical understanding of Futures systems. Excellent communication skills and clear demonstration of collaborating with and leveraging broader teams across your organisation. You will be a self-starter, who can prioritise, and time manage effectively in an environment that requires the ability to react quicky to events and multitask, but also ensure attention to detail is not compromised. You should be educated to degree level and display a strong academic background in a finance or mathematical related degree.


This is a role that will position you in front of high-profile external clients and continue to develop your technical product understanding, whilst at the same time providing internal visibility across many of the Citi markets desks, through day-to-day interactions as you look to develop a career within Citi.
