Food Team International Ltd is an International leading producer, supplier, and distributor of a growing portfolio of frozen, ambient and chilled food ingredients. Our customer base includes manufacturers, food service, wholesale, and retail, as well as traders and distributors across the UK.
With our offices based in central Tunbridge Wells, we are a passionate and energetic team of foodies with international offices within the group across China, Germany, The Netherlands, Spain, Italy and Scandinavia. Food Team have our own production facility based in The Netherlands, and also represent a number of international production facilities on an agency basis. We are responsible for the sale and distribution of our products into UK and Ireland.

RESPONSIBILITIES
You will be working under the supervision of the Quality Assurance Manager. The role is office based in Tunbridge Wells.
You will be responsible for conducting Quality Assurance (QA) of clients' ESG deliverables to include Environmental Social and Governance (ESG) assessments and reports; Streamlined Environmental and Carbon Reporting (SECR); Climate Scenarios; Scope 1, 2 and 3 calculations and reports; and Net Zero Strategies. Also, you will conduct ISO 9001 internal audits and external assurance services for clients, for example, verification of GHG emissions to meet ISO 14064 and comply with the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD). In addition, you will be involved in developing and updating Quality Assurance procedures for a range of ESG services, to meet the latest regulations, guidance and best practice standards.
ROLE
The Quality Assurance ESG Analyst shall provide first level support for clients on key defined tasks relating to ESG topics and minor quality assurance responsibilities. Provide a framework for creating sustainable solutions by considering all three dimensions and ensuring the integration of ESG in our business strategy

Environmental concerns for businesses include climate change and pollution, along with the need to recycle and decarbonize.
The social element covers relationships with suppliers, employees and customers, as well as positions on social topics. Factors for consideration include employee development and health and safety.
Governance considers the standards set by senior executive
ESG:
Environmental (E):
Lead sustainability initiatives aimed at reducing carbon footprint, waste, water use, and energy consumption across facilities and supply chains.
Monitor compliance with environmental regulations and industry standards (e.g., GHG Protocol, ISO 14001, etc.).
Collaborate with product development and operations to integrate eco-friendly practices and packaging solutions.
Social (S):
Promote fair labour practices, diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) within the company and among suppliers.
Develop and oversee community engagement programs and nutrition-related social responsibility projects.
Ensure compliance with food safety, ethical sourcing, and human rights policies.
Governance (G):
Support the development and enforcement of ESG-related policies and codes of conduct.
Prepare ESG disclosures, sustainability reports (e.g., GRI, SASB), and updates for stakeholders and regulatory bodies.
Advise leadership on ESG risks, trends, and opportunities.
Ecovadis Accreditation - with our new premises - work towards accreditation, actively involved in our key utilities.
Carbon tracking - Climate Partners - Work on a program to increase the range of SKU's we are offering carbon tracking
QA:
Customer non-conformances and complaints shall be recorded and filed accordingly.
Putting specifications into our internal format and ensuring existing internal specifications are correct and up to date.
Management of microbiological certificates of analysis for customers are requested and sent accordingly.
QUALIFICATIONS
Degree in STEM / Humanities discipline or equivalent professional experience.
A minimum of one year of ESG experience.
An awareness and understanding of the Greenhouse Gas Protocol.
An ability to clients' ESG deliverables.
Advanced user of the Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong report writing capabilities, to write QA processes.
An ability to project manage multiple projects.
Own transport preferable
Local to TW (no parking)
DESIRABLES:
2+ years of experience in consultancy or analytical roles, focusing on carbon or broader environmental management.
Knowledge of energy efficiency, renewable energy technology and climate models.
Experience in conducting assurance services for clients, for example, ISO 14064 or CSRD.
Experience with conducting carbon footprint calculations (Scopes 1, 2 and 3).
Experience in providing training to staff members.
Experience in writing Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
