ESG & Compliance Manager

to lead our health, safety, environmental, and sustainability initiatives across our farms and packhouse operations.

This is a hands-on role with real impact: from

ensuring compliance with Red Tractor, Global G.A.P., and environmental regulations

, to

tracking carbon footprint, waste, and water use

, and driving

continuous improvement

across our whole farm. You'll work closely with farm managers, packhouse supervisors, and external partners to make sure our operations are

efficient, responsible, and industry leading

.

Key Responsibilities

Lead

health, safety, and environmental compliance

across farms and packhouses. Drive

ESG initiatives

, including carbon reduction, water efficiency, biodiversity projects, and sustainable farming practices. Ensure

food safety and quality compliance

with standards such as Red Tractor, GlobalG.A.P., and BRCGS. Maintain

environmental permits and licences

, ensuring SEPA and other regulatory compliance. Collect and report

carbon, waste, and sustainability metrics

for internal and external reporting. Deliver

staff training and engagement

on safety, environmental awareness, and sustainability. Foster a culture of

continuous improvement, accountability, and operational excellence

.

What We're Looking For

Strong knowledge of

agricultural compliance and H&S legislation

. Experience with

carbon reporting and ESG initiatives

in farming operations. Practical understanding of

farm machinery, crop protection, and packhouse processes

. Excellent

communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills

. A proactive, detail-oriented approach with the ability to

drive change.
