West Suffolk College, Bury St Edmunds (with flexibility to work across other EEG sites) 0.5 FTE - 17.5 hours per week, 52 weeks per year - Fixed Term Contract until 31/08/2026 Salary: 29,583 - 41,964 per annum (Dependent on qualifications and experience) Actual salary: 14,791 - 20,982 per annum
We are seeking a flexible and conscientious candidate with the necessary skills and knowledge to engage with, inspire, and support diverse groups of learners. This role will play an active part within the ESOL team and requires sound organisational, administrative, and IT skills, with a genuine commitment to student development and learning.

The ideal candidate will either hold or be working towards a Level 5 ESOL teaching certification, demonstrating a strong foundation in effective language teaching methodologies. Flexibility in both the time and location of classes, Monday to Friday, is essential to meet the needs of learners and support the wider goals of the team.

The ability to work independently when planning lessons is vital, as is a motivated, adaptable, and patient approach to teaching.
