We're a small, supportive but busy team at the heart of Workforce Planning and Resourcing, and we're looking for a motivated Establishment Management Advisor to join our Establishment Control Team.

In this role, your main responsibilities will include:



Maintain the integrity of the organisation structure data held on computerised systems and create organisational structures as necessary allocating staff to appropriate posts. Quality assure all data received, carrying out necessary research to provide clarity as to the change being requested. Monitor organisational establishment data, conducting audits of the system and changes made to the system on a regular basis to ensure accuracy of workforce data, highlighting any discrepancies, taking corrective action where necessary. Develop and maintain close working relationships with managers, HR, Finance and Workforce Planning colleagues ensuring early oversight of proposed organisational changes within specified directorates/departments. Assist in the provision of financial control, liaising with other teams as appropriate, ensuring systems and processes are efficiently linked.

Additional information:




This role is based at Police Headquarters in Portishead working alongside your team, and you will also have the opportunity to work from home for a proportion of your working week.


To be eligible to apply for this role you must have a 3 year 'checkable history' in the UK - ideally this means that you would have been resident in the UK for the last 3 years.

This role has been identified as a blended role.



The successful candidate for this role will have the opportunity to work from home whilst also at a secondary work location, which will be a police premises. The successful applicant will have the option to discuss working arrangements with their line manager. All applicants must reside within the UK.
