We are recruiting on behalf of a professional and well-established estate agency operating across the South East. The organisation focuses on residential property sales, customer guidance, and delivering consistent, reliable service. The Epping branch is seeking a Property Lister / Valuer to support valuation activity, secure new instructions, and contribute to the smooth running of the office.
Role Purpose
The Property Lister / Valuer is responsible for providing accurate property valuations, advising customers on marketing strategies, securing new listings, and helping drive the branch's overall performance. This role requires strong communication skills, a professional approach, and the ability to build trust with vendors.
Package and Working Pattern
Basic Salary:
23,000
Guaranteed earnings during the first three months
Estimated Total Earnings:
Approximately 40,000 (including commission)
Car Allowance:
2,500 or the option of a company car
Work Pattern:
Five days per week, including some Saturdays (three on, one off)

Key Responsibilities
Provide accurate and well-informed valuation and marketing advice to customers
Obtain new sales instructions and support vendors throughout the listing process
Prepare properties for marketing and work with internal systems to ensure accuracy
Monitor local market trends and apply findings to pricing and marketing recommendations
Generate new business leads through follow-up activity and local market awareness
Work with colleagues to identify suitable buyers for properties
Maintain clear communication with customers and third parties throughout the process
Support the branch with operational tasks as required, including morning meetings when needed
Person Requirements
The ideal candidate will be professional, organised, and able to build strong relationships with customers.
You will bring:
Experience in estate agency, property valuations, or residential sales
Proven ability to convert valuations into instructions
Confident communication and negotiation skills
A proactive and self-motivated approach to work
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet agreed deadlines
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
A customer-focused mindset and clear professional standards
A full UK driving licence
