Due to our recent expansion and relocation, we are seeking a
dedicated and driven Estate Agent
with proven success to join our exceptionally busy Skelton High Street office as we continue to grow and expand.
What we're looking for...
Minimum
18 months' experience
in residential sales, lettings and/or property management
Strong organisational skills and excellent communication abilities
A genuine passion for the property industry
Sound local market knowledge and knowledge of the area is essential
Confidence, professionalism and a highly driven attitude
Flexibility to cover holidays and additional hours where required
Clean driving licence
required
While experience is key as we need someone ready to hit the ground running, full training and guidance will be provided to support your success.

Key Responsibilities
Proactively
generating new business
and building strong client relationships
Booking valuations, viewings, surveys and mortgage appointments
efficiently
Handling high volumes of
telephone and online enquiries
Managing applicants and viewings, including providing
daily feedback
Conducting accompanied viewings
when required
Maintaining regular communication with potential clients and
updating records accurately
Negotiating offers
, agreeing sales and progressing transactions through to completion, liaising with solicitors, mortgage advisors and surveyors
Responding to general applicant enquiries with professionalism and clarity
Preparing
property details, sales particulars
, and carrying out general administrative duties
Delivering exceptional
customer service
at all times
Liaising with landlords and tenants, coordinating
ongoing tenancies, repairs, and maintenance
Registering new clients, understanding their requirements, and matching them to suitable properties
Keeping vendors fully informed with
regular communication and updates
Skills & Experience Required
Experience in
residential sales and lettings
Excellent telephone manner and the ability to remain calm under pressure
Genuine
passion for the property industry
Strong
negotiation and influencing skills
Commitment to delivering the
highest standards of service
Good local knowledge and the ability to
commute reliably
to Skelton
A
full, clean UK driving licence
Excellent
time management
, organisation and attention to detail
A positive attitude, strong work ethic, good sense of humour and the ability to thrive within a small team
Role Details
Full-time position although would consider 4 days as an option
35 hours per week:
Monday-Friday 9am-5pm with a 1-hour lunch break
Possibility of
28 hours per week
is a consideration for the right person
Alternate Saturdays
(currently 1 in 3 however & hours 9:30am - 12:30pm)
28 days holiday
(including bank holidays)
(Set to increase in 2026)
Based at our
Skelton High Street office
, requiring high levels of trust, reliability, and teamwork
