Marlin operates a premium collection of Serviced Apartments, Hotels, and Aparthotels across central London and Dublin. We're seeking an Estate Caretaker to deliver consistent service excellence for our guests and elevate service standards within their team.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Power wash waste skips after the weekly collection to maintain hygiene, ensuring they are free from rubbish and odours. Ensure all skips have plugs and report any damage to the bin area. Maintain and manage the bin areas, including weekly sanitation and cleaning Regularly clean and maintain all communal areas Replace light bulbs in communal areas as needed. Report any damage or cleanliness issues in communal areas to management. Keep all storerooms clean, organised, and secured at all times. Ensure gullies, drains, and external grounds are free from debris and litter, maintaining a presentable environment at all times. Remove rubbish from corridors each day. Accept deliveries and ensure they are correctly stored in appropriate storerooms. Move and handle furniture and equipment when required. Carry out any additional tasks assigned by management. Observe safe working practices and follow instructions provided by technical consultants, contractors, and manufacturers. Assist in minor maintenance tasks and report defects or faults promptly. Maintain outdoor grounds by sweeping and clearing debris as necessary. Ensure communal areas are welcoming and safe for residents and visitors. Liaise with contractors and other service providers as required during their work on site. Carry out any additional tasks assigned by management.

Skills and Personal Qualities

Must have a welcoming, friendly, and helpful attitude towards guests and staff. Should be highly organised and able to multitask effectively. Must be capable of using their own initiative to identify and address tasks without always being instructed. Must maintain a smart outward appearance and a cheerful, positive attitude. A professional demeanour is essential at all times. Should have a good eye for detail to ensure high standards are consistently met. Must have a good level of spoken and written English to communicate clearly with guests and the team.
