Summary
We are seeking an Estate Inspector to join our property management team in Newport. This role is vital in ensuring the integrity and quality of our managed properties and will include office and remote work.
Responsibilities
Regularly inspect the estate's buildings, infrastructure, and land, including farms, woodlands, roads, and drainage systems, to identify necessary repairs and maintenance
Taking photos to evidence inspection and document the condition
Maintain the inspection database
Write notes about the condition
Report and resolve damage or other issues with the properties
Manage essential paperwork
Undertake other duties appropriate to the post as required
Qualifications
Essential
Experience performing a similar role with relevant experience in inspections
Demonstration of a positive attitude to Health and Safety
Good oral and written communication skills and report writing ability
Ability to prioritise and manage multiple projects
The ability to work without direction and use own initiative
Proficient in MS Office skills (Word, Outlook, Excel etc.)
Driving licence
Team player
Able to work under pressure and to deadlines whilst maintaining a high standard
Desirable
Knowledge of GIS property systems
Health and Safety experience would be a distinct advantage
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: 24,000.00-32,000.00 per year
Expected hours: 21 - 35 per week
