Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Maintenance Person to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the operation and maintenance of our beautiful castle and mini manors buildings and facilities. This role requires a technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. The Maintenance person will play a vital role in maintaining safety standards, minimising downtime, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives across our operations.

Responsibilities

We are seeking a

Maintenance Person

to ensure the proper upkeep and functionality of our facilities, equipment, and systems. The ideal candidate will have a broad range of technical skills and be comfortable performing various maintenance tasks to ensure the safety and comfort of our staff, clients, and visitors.

Perform routine maintenance and repairs on buildings, plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC, and other facilities systems. Inspect and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical equipment to identify issues. Handle general repairs including painting, carpentry, and minor construction tasks. Replace light bulbs, air filters, and other building components as needed. Ensure all safety equipment is functioning properly and address any hazardous conditions. Maintain cleanliness and organization of maintenance tools and equipment. Respond to maintenance requests from staff, and address emergency repair situations as they arise. Keep accurate records of maintenance and repair activities. Coordinate with external contractors when necessary. Perform preventative maintenance on equipment and facilities to reduce the likelihood of breakdowns. Comply with safety regulations and company policies.

Skills and Qualifications:

Proven experience in a maintenance or similar role. Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems. Ability to use hand tools and power tools safely. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and efficiently. Good communication skills to interact with team members and report issues. Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects and perform manual labor. Availability to respond to emergency maintenance requests as needed (may on occasion involve evenings or weekends).

Preferred:

Experience with HVAC systems. Knowledge of building codes and regulations. Certification in maintenance, electrical work, plumbing, or related fields.

Pay: 28,000.00-32,000.00 per year
