We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Team Member to ensure the smooth operation and upkeep of our facilities and grounds. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and able to perform a variety of maintenance tasks in a fast-paced environment. In addition to planned maintenance you will provide quick and friendly support to our customer-facing teams to ensure that they have the tools they need to deliver service on a sometimes high pressure situation where safety and effectiveness are key.

The centre is operational 7 days a week. You will be required to work 5 days over 7. Weekend work may be required and is down to managers discretion.

Starting salary for this role will be 28,595, negotiable depending on qualifications and experience.

Key Responsibilities





Conduct routine checks of buildings, equipment, and grounds to identify maintenance needs. Perform basic maintenance tasks and liaise with contractors. Assist in the repair and upkeep of adventure activity areas. Ensure safety standards are met across all areas and report any hazards or issues. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of maintenance areas and tools. Daily checks and operation of vehicles and machinery. Collaborate with other team members to support various projects and events. Respond to maintenance requests and emergencies in a timely manner. Keep accurate records of maintenance activities using a tablet and / or PC.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise





Essential:Previous experience in maintenance or groundwork. Full Clean UK Driving Licence Ability to work independently and as part of a team Good communication skills and a positive attitude Willingness to work outdoors and in various weather conditions. Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, and carpentry A commitment to safe working practices including the wearing of PPE and compliance with PUWER and other statutory regulations. Meticulous approach to work, ensuring that tasks are fully completed to a high standard of finish and safety. Capable of performing physical tasks, including lifting, climbing.



DesirableExperience in Portable Appliance Testing Level 2 Award in Chainsaw Maintenance NEBOSH Certification Relevant certifications or training in maintenance, electrical, plumbing, or carpentry
