Your Role, Your Impact
As an Estate Operative, you will play a vital role in ensuring the estate is clean, safe, and well-maintained for residents and visitors. You will carry out routine inspections, address maintenance issues promptly, and support the wider on-site team. Building positive working relationships with colleagues, residents, and external contractors will be key to delivering excellent service and maintaining high standards across the estate.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide a high standard of service to the site and our customers
Ensure the development and its buildings and common areas are professionally cleaned, well presented and maintained
Daily tasks will include dusting, sweeping, mopping, emptying bins and vacuuming of communal areas
Ensure that all health and safety risks are identified and report any accidents, trips, spills, hazards or near misses as per the site procedures, to the development manager or assistant development manager
Undertake relevant safety testing and checks as requested and diarised to do so
Front entrances, communal stairways, corridors and passageways kept clean at all times
To carry out deep cleaning as and when requested
Report any maintenance issues that may arise to the development manager and remedy them upon instruction.
Ensure all footpaths and communal areas are kept clean and free of litter
Ensure that instructions for the maintenance, cleaning and storage of equipment are consistently followed and be prepared to perform any other reasonable duties, as requested by the development manager

Required Skills & Qualifications:
Good communicator with Excellent Customer Service Skills
Approachable personality
Good Health and Safety Awareness
A keen eye for detail with an aim to promoting High Site Standards
Able to work on own initiative
Ability to support Management on reactive and planned works
Understands the importance of confidentiality Data Protection
Able to build meaningful rapport at all levels including contractors
Forward thinking and innovative
High level of Grooming Standards
A desire to self-develop through NVQs, Cross Site Training and supporting team members at other First Port Sites
