Estate Staff Supervisor

\xc2\xa338,098 - \xc2\xa340,104 per year

40 hours per week

We are currently looking to recruit an experienced Estate Staff Supervisor who will utilise their key management skills to oversee a team of Cleaners, Caretakers and Landscape Technicians. This role will require you to apply your knowledge and expertise of Estate Maintenance to plan multiple workloads; ensuring productivity is maximised across a large geographical area.

The role of Estate Staff Supervisor will include:

  • Planning the daily workload for the Estate Services team and providing quotations for works not covered by specifications
  • Dealing with complaints, breakdowns in service delivery and identifying areas for improvement to implement effective solutions
  • Carrying out scheme inspections to ensure contract requirements are fulfilled in line with health and safety requirements
  • Liaising with the housing team to discuss specific scheme issues and improve service delivery
  • Playing a key role in the training, recruitment, development and retention of current staff
Skills and experiences:
  • City & Guilds qualification, NVQ3 or relevant experience in horticulture, Caretaking/Cleaning or a similar discipline
  • Recent experience of undertaking a similar role
  • Working knowledge of the application of Health and Safety legislation
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Working knowledge of preparing tender documentation, including financial projections and presentations
  • Proven ability to effectively recruit, manage and develop staff
  • This role will involve driving on company business. In order to drive a company vehicle, drivers must hold a full valid UK driving licence
