You will work within the Asset Management and Compliance Team on the development and ongoing review of policies and procedures relating to asset management and compliance of buildings across the HES estate.

Key Responsibilities of this role



Provide project support for the development of policy, procedure and supporting systems and documentation. Writing of policy, procedure and associated project documentation. Dealing with internal stakeholders to establish agreed approaches to manage specific areas of compliance. Maintain the project files in line with HES information governance standards and project management methodology. Support colleagues across directorates to ensure that national asset registers and trackers are managed and maintained appropriately to ensure we can demonstrate compliance. Arrange training for HES staff on specific areas of compliance as identified during project development of associated procedures. Plan and arrange meetings with various stakeholders, ensuring all paperwork and supporting documentation has been distributed and taking minutes when required. Prepare and issue internal reports showing levels of compliance across the HES estate for various compliance areas. Support the Asset Compliance Manager and Asset Compliance Lead in delivering the compliance quality assurance programme and reviewing and correcting compliance data. Raise orders in the procurement system for services and/or equipment required as identified during a project. Carry out discrete areas of research to support the development of policies and procedures that relate to asset management, and contribute to the subsequent writing of these documents. Monitoring mailboxes and dealing with enquiries.

Essential:



Previous experience providing project support, working in a project environment, or significant administrative experience Experience with organising and coordinating project meetings and training sessions Experience using a range of digital applications or systems to review and manage data sets Excellent attention to detail/accuracy with experience of working with data and generating reports Self-motivating, with the ability to multi-task, prioritise and work autonomously to achieve results Intermediate-level competence in Microsoft packages (ideally, SharePoint, Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Teams) Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work well with a range of people, including project stakeholders
